Fussion vs. Parallels

Fussion vs. Parallels

Postby m8trix » Thu Feb 25, 2010 2:13 pm

Last week I did a test drive of both Parallels and Fusion and ultimately chose Fusion . The smoothness of how it work with Snow Leopard is outstanding and when you activate unity on it it fits seamless into the work environment. You feel like you are not even on a virtual desktop. Right now I am running Windows 7 with OS X 10.6.+ and not a single problem matter of fact I am enjoying the fact I can use some of the utilities of both for school and for my creative web projects. For 79 or 99 dollars (depending on the service plan you get with it) it is worth having.
What was great is that there was a migration tool that took a snapshot of my laptop running Window 7 and moved it all to the Mac including to my surprise Ubuntu that I have installed as a dual boot. Anyway all my school work and apps for school like text pad are all intact with no problems . Even Nortons for Windows runs well. Here is a snapshot of my Doc showing something most Mac Users would shudder seeing but are real useful to me in web designing.

Be a yardstick of quality. Some people aren't used to an environment where excellence is expected.
