Reasons why iPhone, iPods, and the iPad may lack features

I was going to blog this and may well do it very soon when I gather more factual information but this is a good subject that beckons to be talked about. You heard the threads and the blogs why iPad is not what was expected that it lacked certain features that would of put it over the top. The truth is Apple may have their hands tied. In passing conversations with others familiar with the products it was mentioned that Apple has to hold back do to some FCC regs and the fact that no one carrier accept for ATT has the capability to work with the iPhone and iPad. If iPhone was to go with Verizon the bandwidth from the iPhone would be to much for their set up to handle. It is the reason I found out why they are on AT&T . Here is another fact one of the reasons that there are no video cameras on the iPad also it would take up way to much bandwidth. Also I heard that Apple had to make some consessions to the FCC and the goverment ( I still have to look that one up ) to get both the iPhone and iPod released . If true it may be a factor why the iPad is based on the iPod design with the same construction rather then using a more sophisticated OS and chip set. May be that Apple is just getting the product out their now instead of waiting for approval and improve from generation to generation.
