Welcome to a totally upgraded M8-2.C0M. This will be the 4th incarnation of M8-2 . From the simple roots of M8trix Nation when we ran a simple HTML site with phpBB 2 forums to the phpBB 3 site to Joomla phpBB 3 intergrated site of M8-2 to the poor Joomla site . Now we take another huge leap with a totall system upgrade.

We have improved our services by upgrading from Joomla 1.0 to Joomla 1.5 . This upgrade (actually this  was a migration not an upgrade because both systems are totally written differently) was a necessary step to continue our dedication to improve services and to create a community friendly site that makes for a more enjoyable experience. Also it was really nessacary because Joomla 1.0 will not be no longer supported come July and that means that most of my components will no longer be suported and upgraded. Consider that this site has tons of user components that are integrated into it I thought now was the best time to make this move.  Most of the improvements you will not see on the surfice however the improvements to the core of the site has been greatly enhanced and as I upgrade the components to match this new version you will start to see many improvements with speed and ease of use. Some service will run on a legacy mode meaning that they are just as they were. Others like the Blogs and some others are upgraded to the newer system and you can notice a huge diffference int he way they run and feel.

 The fure also holds many suprises as i lay out a plan for us to move more towards a 2.0 solcial network system. I have already upgraded the Community Profiles system and was told that the groups component will have a major upgrade in the near future something that is stable and uses private forums, bullitens and the profile management system. Something like a facebook type of deal.  Thew forums in the next year will go under a major bump up and also will the videos sharing. The future is so bright and the possabilities are only limited to the imagination
